The White Cloth
This was one of the most challenging films I have ever produced, to say the least. Shooting a film when you've been given complete creative freedom with no boundaries other than "make it about Easter"... Oh and yeah during a pandemic... It is one of the most anxiety-producing endeavors for a director. On the one hand, you want to push yourself too the extreme as a filmmaker and try things you've never done before and swing for the fences artistically... On the other, you're in the middle of a freakin pandemic, and with my health the way it is I need to stay safe, not only for myself but for my family as well. So, shout out to the best family in the world for coming in clutch and being my actors and going along with my crazy ideas #youaretherealmvps ... Regardless of the circumstances I honestly believe this is one, if not, THE best film I've ever produced.
It’s crazy how when you have limited time and resources and your unable to do many of the parts of your script the initial way you wrote it (because of a global pandemic or whatever the obstacle is), creativity sparks and begins to flow when the pressure is on.
